NH Scholars Initiative
New Hampshire Scholars
New Hampshire Scholars is a community-based program that encourages students to take a rigorous Core Course of Study in high school. Whatever path students take, a strong high school education can help them achieve their goals. New Hampshire Scholars gives students a roadmap for gaining the skills and knowledge they need to succeed—in college, careers, and community life.
What does it take to be a New Hampshire Scholar?
New Hampshire Scholars are high school students who have completed the NH Scholars Standard Core Course of Study, STEM Core Course of Study, or Arts Core Course of Study. The New Hampshire Scholars philosophy is based on the belief that it is better to pass an academically challenging course than to get a higher grade in an easier course.
